Making a difference starts with showing up, and that’s exactly what our Wallick team did at The Ashford on Broad.
As part of Wallick’s commitment to giving back, team members receive eight hours of paid volunteer time each year to support causes and communities they care about.
Recently, associates from Wallick’s Marketing & Branding, Project Management, and Senior Living teams spent the day at The Ashford on Broad refreshing the community courtyard.
Together, they planted flowers, pulled weeds, trimmed hedges, spread fresh mulch, and completed a variety of landscaping projects to help create an even more beautiful outdoor space.
The work was especially meaningful because of the impact it has on The Ashford on Broad residents. The gardens are a favorite gathering place, with several resident patios overlooking the courtyard and garden beds where residents enjoy tending their own plants.
The courtyard is also home to a family of ducks that residents love watching and helping care for, making the space even more special. By investing time and care into these gardens, our team helped create a place where residents can continue to relax, connect with neighbors, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.
Days like this reflect the culture of service that is part of Wallick Senior Living. We are grateful to our team members for sharing their time and talents, and even more excited for our residents to enjoy the refreshed gardens throughout the season.
